Richard has over 29 years of experience in the funeral industry, having been licensed in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Upon relocation from North Carolina to Southwest Virginia in 2021, Richard began to see a need to help the small town funeral homes of this region. He began helping funeral home owner/operators with trade embalming. In adding licensed and insured surface transportation, Jerkins Mortuary Services LLC was established in January 2024.
With his family now helping behind the scenes in the business, they have added embalming machine repair, mortuary cot repair, becoming an authorized sales rep for Trinity Embalming Fluids and The Slaughter Instrument Company.
The Jerkins Family feels it would be an honor to assisting you to serve your families in their time of need.
