The JMS 1550 was designed by Richard Jerkins, a licensed embalmer with over 30 years in the prep room, and it is built new at our shop in Castlewood, Virginia. It is made for control: lower pressures and a lower rate of flow for good distribution with less swelling, and gauges that show you exactly what you are injecting.
Control
- 50 PSI maximum. More control through the lower pressures, with less swelling.
- Lower rate of flow for more control and less swelling.
- Liquid-filled pressure gauge. No shaking needle, and a detailed readout.
- Rate-of-flow sight gauge. See exactly how much you are injecting as it happens, instead of watching the tank and guessing.
Built to protect itself
- Automatic pump shutoff when the tank runs empty, so the pump never runs dry.
- Direct-drive pump. No belts, no pulleys. Smooth and quiet.
- Built-in electric internal fluid shutoff, so nothing gravity-drains from the tank when the machine is off. Off is off, Mix is only mix, and Inject sends fluid to the deceased while the sight glass shows the rate.
- Red light for mix, green light for inject.
Construction
- 2-gallon glass tank and plumbing.
- Stainless steel base.
- Brass plumbing fittings.
- Chemical-resistant hard tubing and lines.
- Hose barb main fitting, so you can use standard, low-cost tubing.
- Relaxed clear silicone hose included.
- Not rated for phenol or cavity fluid.
