Embalming fluid ships as a regulated hazardous material, so it can’t go out the same way as a box of eye caps. Here’s how we handle it, so there are no surprises when you order.
UPS Ground only
We ship fluid by UPS Ground as a limited-quantity hazardous material. It can’t go by air. At checkout, any order with fluid in it shows UPS Ground and nothing faster.
Lower 48 states only
UPS Ground can’t carry hazardous materials to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the other territories, and we don’t ship fluid outside the country. If your address is outside the lower 48, checkout stops the order before you pay. Call Richard at 336-380-3088 and he’ll talk it through with you.
Licensed funeral homes only
We sell embalming fluid to licensed funeral homes, and it has to ship to a licensed funeral home address. A fluid order headed anywhere else gets canceled and refunded.
Everything else ships anywhere in the US
Cosmetics, instruments, plastics and prep room supplies ship by USPS or UPS anywhere in the US, Puerto Rico and the territories included. If your order mixes fluid with other items, the whole order goes UPS Ground.

What shipping costs
Checkout shows the live UPS and USPS prices for your address before you pay. A case of fluid weighs about 35 pounds, and each case ships in its own box.
